The cycle report
Ontario admissions 2027, in numbers
Every number on this page is computed from the 1,613 programs Ontario universities currently list for September 2027 entry — 1,572 of which publish an admission range — and recomputes automatically when the listings change. Sources and method are on the sources page.

Where the floors actually sit
The 90s panic, against the data: of 1,572 published ranges, 38 ask for 90 or above — and exactly 5 ask for 93+: Laurier (Waterloo) Business Administration (BBA) + Computer Science (BCS), University of Waterloo; U of T (Scarborough) Computer Science (regular and co-op); Queen's Health Sciences; McMaster Honours Medical Radiation Sciences; McMaster Life Sciences Gateway. Everything else in the province opens below that.
Same degree, different bar
Nursing spans 70 to 90 across 18 programs — the same licence at the end. The nursing guide maps every campus.
Computer science runs 65 to 93 across 58 programs.
Engineering runs 65 to 90 across 136 programs, median 84.
The honest asterisk
A published number is a floor, not an average — 40 programs say outright that admission is by selection, meaning more qualified applicants than seats. And no Ontario university publishes an acceptance rate at all; here’s what the percentages you see online actually measure.
The money nobody applies for
263 entrance scholarships are automatic — no application, awarded on your average. Nipissing’s guaranteed entrance scholarship makes domestic tuition free for four years at a 95+; York’s automatic scholarship starts at an 80. Every award, with its floor.
What moved when the 2027 listings landed
Compared against the previous cycle’s listings on 28 August 2026: 60 programs changed their published range, 8 were delisted (each keeps an honest record), and one OUAC code changed hands entirely. The dataset is re-verified against the source weekly.
Check your own average against all of it: the guided flow reads every published range the way each program calculates it.
