University of Manitoba from an Ontario high school
What average does Manitoba want from an Ontario student?
Manitoba publishes a minimum for each program and says plainly that when applicants outnumber seats you will need more than the minimum.
A published minimum. Clearing it is the floor, not the decision. Read from Manitoba’s own pages on September 20, 2026.
University 1
A minimum average of 70%, with no less than 60% in each course
Commerce (Honours)
A minimum average of 85%, with no less than 70% in each course
Engineering
A minimum average of 80%, with no less than 70% in each course
Minimums only, no admitted averages. The site is still on the 2026-27 cycle, so the fall 2027 deadline is not posted yet.
The courses it wants
Six credits in Grade 12 U or M courses, listed by Ontario course code in the province picker.
