Cutoffs

Where the data comes from

Everything on this site is derived from public sources published by Ontario’s universities or by the OUAC. Nothing here is crowd-sourced, and nothing is a prediction.

What we don’t claim

  • A grade range is not a cutoff. It is the range a university says successful applicants land in. People get in below it and miss above it.
  • Clearing a scholarship’s grade band is not eligibility. Most awards add criteria — program, citizenship, community involvement, financial need.
  • Course requirements are as published. Some programs name several courses where only one or two are actually required. Read the program’s own page before changing your timetable.
  • Dates move. Every date shows whether it is confirmed for this cycle and when we last checked it.

On university names and colours

We identify universities with a plain coloured tile and two to four letters set in our own typeface. We do not reproduce any university’s crest, badge, wordmark or logo. The colours are the schools’ commonly known colours, used as a scanning aid. Nothing on this site implies affiliation with or endorsement by any university.

Found something wrong? That is worth more to us than almost anything else — the whole point of this site is being right about details other people get wrong.
