What we store, and how to delete it

If you don’t make an account

Nothing you type leaves your browser. Your courses, marks and starred programs are saved in that browser’s local storage on your own device. We never receive them. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and nobody — including us — can recover them.

If you do make an account

We store exactly three things:

• Your email address — to sign you in, to confirm it’s yours, and to send deadline reminders if you ask for them.
• Your course codes and marks — so your average follows you between your phone and your laptop.
• The programs you star — so your plan is there when you come back, and so reminders can be about your deadlines rather than everyone’s.

That’s the whole list. No name, no school, no birthday, no phone number, no address. We don’t ask because we don’t need it.

Your password

Stored as a scrypt hash with a random salt per account — we cannot read it, and neither could anyone who stole the database. Session and reset links are also stored only as hashes, so a database leak wouldn’t hand anyone a way into your account. Changing your password signs out every device.

Where it lives

In a Postgres database hosted by Neon in Washington, D.C., and served through Vercel. That means your data is stored in the United States, which Canadian privacy law allows as long as we tell you — so we are telling you. There is no Canadian region available on this database at the moment.

What we never do

• We don’t sell your data. Not to universities, not to recruiters, not to anyone.
• We don’t share it with the universities on this site. They have no idea who you are.
• We don’t run advertising trackers, third-party analytics pixels or session recording.
• We don’t email you anything except account emails and reminders you asked for.

Deleting it

Go to your account and click delete. It removes your email, your marks, your starred programs and every session, immediately and permanently — a real DELETE, not a hidden flag. You don’t have to email anyone or explain why.

If you’re under 13

Please don’t make an account. The site works fully without one, and everything stays on your own device.
