How Ontario Tech hands money out

- How automatic awards work here
We give Automatic Awards of Recognition to Canadian high school students, and recent graduates who present an average of 85% or higher.
Awards are based on the student's top six 4U/M (or equivalent) final grades and range in value from $1,000 to $4,000.
- Awards you have to apply for
Major Entrance Scholarships: 5 renewable awards, ranging from $24,000 to $36,000 each, are available to students who have a minimum 85% average, are exceptional leaders and are active participants in their community.
Joyce Foundation Success Award: 2 renewable awards of $4,000 each are available by application to students in Durham Region or Northumberland County high schools who have a minimum 75% average.
