What it isPhysics is the study of how matter, energy, and forces work at every scale, from tiny particles to the whole universe. This program includes mathematics and some biology courses alongside core physics content. You'll have the option to do a paid work term as part of your degree, giving you real laboratory or industry experience alongside your studies.Medical physics applies physics principles to diagnose and treat disease in hospitals and clinics — you study how radiation, imaging, and other tools work in medicine alongside core physics. Unlike a straight physics degree, this program integrates medical applications from the start and includes a co-op work term, so you gain hands-on experience in hospital physics departments while studying.
