This program teaches you the science of human movement and physical activity – how bodies work during exercise, sport, and recreation. You study physiology, biomechanics, and exercise science rather than coaching or fitness training alone. The co-op option lets you combine classroom learning with paid work terms at sports organizations, hospitals, or fitness centres, giving you real experience alongside your degree.	You study how to teach physical education and health to middle and high school students, grounded in the science of human movement, exercise, and sport. Unlike a straight kinesiology degree, this program combines your science coursework with teacher training and practicums so you earn your teaching credential while you study. It suits students who want to work with teenagers in schools and have a genuine interest in both the science behind fitness and health education.	A Biology degree at Glendon lets you study how living things work, from cells and molecules to whole organisms and ecosystems. You'll take core biology courses and choose from specialized areas like genetics, microbiology, human biology, or biotechnology. The iBSc variant integrates bilingual (English–French) instruction throughout your degree, rather than offering biology taught only in English.
