What it is	Biochemistry is the study of chemical processes inside living cells and organisms, combining chemistry and biology to understand how life works at a molecular level. This co-op program includes work terms where you apply what you are learning in paid jobs with employers, giving you real workplace experience alongside your studies. This program combines electrical engineering with computer science, so you study both how to design electrical systems and how to write software that controls them. Unlike a single engineering degree, you earn two degrees in five years by taking courses in both fields simultaneously. It suits students who want flexibility across hardware and software rather than committing to just one discipline, and who are willing to spread their study over an extra year to do both.	This program trains you to teach science at the junior and intermediate levels (grades 7–10) while earning a bachelor's degree.
