What it isYou study how to create video games from start to finish, learning programming, visual design, animation, sound, and storytelling. Unlike a pure computer science degree, this program balances technical skills with creative and business thinking, so you learn game engines, art, and how to actually launch a game. It suits people who want hands-on work making games rather than working only on backend code or studying game theory in isolation.Mechatronics engineering combines mechanical systems, electronics, and computer control to design machines and devices that think and move. You'll study how motors, sensors, and software work together in everything from robots to medical equipment. The co-op option lets you alternate between study terms and paid work terms, giving you real industry experience alongside your degree. In your first year, you take core math, physics, chemistry, and engineering courses alongside introductory modules in civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, software, and space engineering. This gives you time to explore which engineering discipline suits you before specializing in upper years. The program includes paid work terms, alternating with school, so you gain industry experience while studying.
