What it is	History at Brock is the study of past human societies, events, and ideas, and how they shape the world today. You'll analyze primary sources, examine different interpretations of historical events, and develop research and writing skills. This program includes optional work terms where you apply historical thinking to jobs in archives, museums, government, or cultural organizations.	You study how people, societies, and cultures have changed over time, using primary sources like documents, artifacts, and written records. History at Windsor lets you focus on specific regions or periods — such as Classical civilizations, East Asia, or Celtic cultures — and you can combine it with another subject as a double major. This program suits people curious about why the world works the way it does and who want to develop research and critical thinking skills applicable across many careers.	You study history through any of several regional or cultural lenses — Aboriginal, African, Asian, Classical, Celtic, Chinese, or others — learning how societies developed over time and what shaped their values and conflicts. Unlike a straight history degree, this program requires you to complete paid work terms alongside your courses, giving you real experience in archives, museums, heritage organizations, or related fields.
