What it isThis program lets you study pure science in one of four areas: biology, chemistry, physics, or a mix of these subjects. You'll take foundational courses in your chosen field and build toward specialized upper-year courses. It suits students who want a strong grounding in how the natural world works, whether they're planning to go further in science or use that knowledge in other directions.An Honours Science degree lets you study a science subject deeply — biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, or another physical science — and choose your own focus within it. Unlike a general science program, an Honours degree requires a concentrated major and typically includes a research or capstone component. The co-op option means you alternate between school terms and paid work placements in science-related jobs, which suits people who want real workplace experience alongside their degree.This program trains you to teach science at the junior and intermediate levels (grades 7–10) while earning a bachelor's degree. You study science subjects like chemistry, physics, biology and mathematics alongside educational theory and classroom practice.
