You study French language, literature, and culture in depth, learning how to read, write, and think critically about French-speaking texts and ideas. The iBA option means you spend a year abroad in a French-speaking country, giving you immersion in the language and culture alongside your coursework. This program suits students who love French and want genuine fluency and cultural knowledge, whether or not they're already a strong French speaker at entry.	You study how to manage sports facilities, recreation programs, and leisure services for communities and organizations. Unlike a general sports science program, this degree focuses on the business and administrative side — scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and customer experience — rather than personal fitness or athletic performance. The co-op work terms, built into the four-year degree, let you apply management skills in real sports and recreation settings while you study.	Linguistics is the study of how language works — its structure, sounds, grammar, and how people use it to communicate. This program lets you focus specifically on language science rather than learning to speak a particular language fluently.
