What it is	Philosophy is the study of fundamental questions about knowledge, reality, ethics, and how to live. You examine ideas through reading, discussion, and reasoned argument rather than through experiments or fieldwork. You study French language, literature, and culture in depth, learning how to read, write, and think critically about French-speaking texts and ideas. The iBA option means you spend a year abroad in a French-speaking country, giving you immersion in the language and culture alongside your coursework.
