What it is	Sociology is the study of how people live together in groups, families, communities, and societies. You'll examine social patterns, inequality, culture, and institutions to understand why people behave the way they do and how social structures shape our lives. This program suits people curious about society and human behaviour who want to think critically about how the world works.	You study how to create and produce media across film, photography, writing, and design, learning both the technical skills and creative thinking behind what you see on screens and in print. Unlike a pure communication theory program, this one emphasizes hands-on production and design work alongside studying media's role in society. It suits people who want to make things, not just analyze them, and who enjoy combining visual, written, and conceptual work.	Industrial Design teaches you how to plan and shape physical products — from phones to furniture to medical devices — so they work well, look good, and can actually be made. You'll combine design thinking with engineering and manufacturing knowledge to understand both the creative and practical sides of bringing products to life. The co-op term lets you work in industry while you study, so you apply what you learn to real projects.
