What it is	Sociology is the study of how people live together in groups, families, communities, and societies. You'll examine social patterns, inequality, culture, and institutions to understand why people behave the way they do and how social structures shape our lives. This program suits people curious about society and human behaviour who want to think critically about how the world works.	This program combines two degrees studied side by side over four years: a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a Bachelor of Education. Instead of finishing one degree then training as a teacher separately, you complete both simultaneously, so you graduate qualified to teach French in Ontario schools. It suits students who are fluent in French, want to teach the language, and prefer an integrated path rather than studying arts first and adding teacher training later.
