What it is	Civil engineering teaches you how to design, build, and maintain infrastructure like bridges, roads, dams, and water systems. You'll study structural mechanics, materials, surveying, and environmental impact alongside math and physics. This program includes a mandatory co-op placement, so you'll work on real projects while you study, which suits people who learn best by doing and want practical experience before graduation.	In your first year, you take core math, physics, chemistry, and engineering courses alongside introductory modules in civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, software, and space engineering. This gives you time to explore which engineering discipline suits you before specializing in upper years. The program includes paid work terms, alternating with school, so you gain industry experience while studying.	Mechatronics engineering combines mechanical systems, electronics, and computer control to design machines and devices that think and move. You'll study how motors, sensors, and software work together in everything from robots to medical equipment. The co-op option lets you alternate between study terms and paid work terms, giving you real industry experience alongside your degree.
