This non-honours version gives you a broader survey of these fields rather than the deeper specialization of an honours degree, so you spend less time on advanced research methods and theory. In your first year, you take core math, physics, chemistry, and engineering courses alongside introductory modules in civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, software, and space engineering. This gives you time to explore which engineering discipline suits you before specializing in upper years. The program includes paid work terms, alternating with school, so you gain industry experience while studying.	Engineering is a four-year degree in applied science and problem-solving, with seven specializations: civil, computer, electronic and electrical, geomatics, mechanical, software, and space. The co-op option lets you alternate between classroom semesters and paid work terms at engineering firms, giving you real experience before you graduate. It suits people who want hands-on technical training, enjoy math and physics, and prefer learning through doing alongside theory.
