What it isDigital Futures is a design and fine arts program where you study visual storytelling through digital tools and media, combining animation, graphic design, coding, and art. Unlike traditional design or fine art streams, it's built around interdisciplinary collaboration and real-world projects that blend artistic creativity with digital technology and communication. It suits people who want to create visually, think critically about media, and work across both artistic and technical domains. This program teaches you to extract useful information from large datasets using mathematics, programming, and statistics. You'll study how to build and use artificial intelligence models, manage data systems, and apply these skills to real business and financial problems. The co-op component means you'll work in relevant jobs during your studies, alternating with classroom learning. It suits people who enjoy both math and problem-solving and want practical experience applying these skills before graduation. You study computer science and design together in a hands-on, project-based way rather than as separate subjects. The program emphasizes learning through real problems and experimentation, so you'll build working projects alongside traditional coursework. This suits people who want to understand how technology and design connect and prefer learning by doing. This program teaches you to design and build complex systems — often combining software, hardware, human behaviour, and business — that solve real-world problems. Unlike a traditional engineering program focused on one discipline, it blends computer science, design thinking, and management so you learn how systems work across multiple fields. It suits students who want engineering skills but prefer understanding how all the pieces fit together and spending time working in industry during their degree.
