Rows marked with a dot are where these differ. Everything is each university’s own published wording; the “your average” row is yours, calculated the way each program does it.

| What it is | This program combines teacher training with study of human movement, exercise, and sports science. Unlike a regular education degree, you learn both how to teach and the science of how bodies move and respond to physical activity. It suits students who want to teach physical education or health in secondary school and are interested in the biology and mechanics behind fitness and sport. | You study how to teach French to English speakers, combined with a full bachelor's degree in French or another subject. You earn both a BA (or BSc) and a teaching credential at the same time, rather than doing them separately. This suits people who are fluent or nearly fluent in French, want to teach the language in Ontario schools, and prefer an integrated path to certification. |
