What it is	A Chemistry program teaches you how matter behaves, how substances react and transform, and the principles underlying everything from medicines to materials. You'll study atomic structure, chemical reactions, and analytical techniques through labs and lectures. This co-op option lets you alternate between classroom semesters and paid work terms at chemistry-related employers, building real experience while earning.	Chemistry at Brock is the study of matter, reactions, and the properties of substances. You learn how atoms and molecules interact, and gain hands-on lab experience. The BSc/BEd option combines chemistry with teacher education so you can qualify to teach high school science. The co-op option lets you alternate semesters of study with paid work in chemistry-related jobs, giving you real workplace experience before you graduate. This suits students who want a practical understanding of how chemistry works in industry or education.	A Bachelor of Science (General) lets you study science broadly across biology, chemistry, environmental science, and related fields, choosing your own mix of courses rather than specializing deeply in one area. Unlike an honours program, it gives you flexibility to explore multiple sciences without committing to a single major or meeting the tighter requirements of a specialized stream.
