What it is	Engineering I – Discovery Track lets you explore multiple engineering specializations during your first year before committing to a specific stream like chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, or software engineering. You can also choose to combine engineering with management or social studies. The co-op option means you'll alternate between classroom and paid work terms, giving you real experience in the field while studying.	You study the core principles and applications of engineering across multiple disciplines — mechanics, materials, electrical systems, and design — rather than specializing in one branch from the start. This program includes mandatory work terms integrated throughout your degree, giving you hands-on experience in engineering roles while you study. It suits students who want broad engineering foundations and real workplace experience before deciding on a specialization.	Engineering is a four-year degree in applied science and problem-solving, with seven specializations: civil, computer, electronic and electrical, geomatics, mechanical, software, and space.
