What it isEconomics is the study of how people, businesses, and governments make decisions about money, resources, and trade. At Windsor, you can pursue either a BA or BSc stream, with the BSc involving more advanced mathematics and quantitative analysis. Both options explore finance and management science, and the program includes co-op work terms that let you apply what you learn in real workplaces. This program combines environmental science and social justice, exploring how environmental problems affect communities and how policy and activism can address them. You study ecology alongside politics, sociology, and ethics rather than treating environmental issues as purely technical. It suits students who care about the environment but want to understand its human and political dimensions, and the co-op option lets you work in nonprofits, government, or advocacy organizations while you study. You study philosophy, politics, and current social issues together rather than in separate programs. This interdisciplinary approach lets you examine ethical problems — like inequality, justice, and policy — from multiple angles at once. It suits people who want to think deeply about society's problems and aren't sure whether philosophy, political science, or social studies fits them best.
