What it is	You study how the natural world works alongside the human systems that affect it. The BES focuses on environmental policy, conservation, and sustainability through social and geographic lenses, while the BSc emphasizes the physical science side: geology, ecology, and environmental processes. Both paths suit people interested in solving real environmental problems through either policy and community work or scientific research and analysis.	An Honours Science degree lets you study a science subject deeply — biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, or another physical science — and choose your own focus within it. Unlike a general science program, an Honours degree requires a concentrated major and typically includes a research or capstone component. The co-op option means you alternate between school terms and paid work placements in science-related jobs, which suits people who want real workplace experience alongside their degree.	You earn a Bachelor of Arts degree while simultaneously training to become a high school teacher. You study an academic subject like English, history, or mathematics alongside education courses that teach you how to teach those subjects to teenagers. Unlike a regular BA followed by a separate teacher education program, you complete both degrees at the same time in four years, so you enter the classroom faster and with integrated training.
