What it is	Actuarial Science is the study of statistics, mathematics, and financial risk — you learn to analyze and predict the likelihood and cost of future events to help insurance companies, pension funds, and other businesses make sound financial decisions. It goes deeper into applied math and probability than a general science degree, preparing you for actuarial certification exams.
