What it is	This program teaches you the science of living organisms, from microscopic cells and microbes to whole animals, ecosystems, and human biology. You choose your own focus areas — such as microbiology, ecology, or how organisms develop — and learn research methods through labs and field work. It suits students curious about how life works at any scale and interested in hands-on investigation rather than a fixed curriculum.	Biological Sciences is the study of living organisms — their structure, function, genetics, ecology, and how they interact with their environment. At Brock, you can pursue this as a straight Bachelor of Science or combine it with teacher education through the BSc/BEd, which qualifies you to teach biology in Ontario high schools. The program includes a co-op option that integrates paid work terms with your studies, giving you practical experience in research labs, government agencies, or industry.	A Biology degree at Glendon lets you study how living things work, from cells and molecules to whole organisms and ecosystems. You'll take core biology courses and choose from specialized areas like genetics, microbiology, human biology, or biotechnology. The iBSc variant integrates bilingual (English–French) instruction throughout your degree, rather than offering biology taught only in English.	A Bachelor of Science (General) lets you study science broadly across biology, chemistry, environmental science, and related fields, choosing your own mix of courses rather than specializing deeply in one area. Unlike an honours program, it gives you flexibility to explore multiple sciences without committing to a single major or meeting the tighter requirements of a specialized stream. This suits students who are curious about science in general but aren't yet sure which direction appeals to them most.
