What it isThis program combines two degrees studied side by side over four years: a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a Bachelor of Education. Instead of finishing one degree then training as a teacher separately, you complete both simultaneously, so you graduate qualified to teach French in Ontario schools. It suits students who are fluent in French, want to teach the language, and prefer an integrated path rather than studying arts first and adding teacher training later. This program teaches you how media and communication work across multiple platforms — from journalism and photography to marketing and design. You'll study both the theory behind how messages reach audiences and the practical skills to create them yourself. It suits people who want to understand media industries from the inside and are ready to work across different formats rather than specializing in just one.
