What it isYou study how to design and operate chemical processes that transform raw materials into useful products — everything from pharmaceuticals to plastics to fuels. Chemical engineering combines chemistry, physics, and math to solve real industrial problems at scale. The co-op stream lets you alternate between classroom terms and paid work terms at companies, giving you direct experience in the field while you study. This is a one-year English and design foundation program for international students whose English skills need strengthening before entering architecture or design studies. You take intensive English classes alongside introductory courses in architecture, landscape design, and visual design to build both language ability and design thinking. It suits international students who have strong potential but need to reach the English proficiency standard the university requires for direct entry into degree programs.
