What it is	You study how to manage sports facilities, recreation programs, and leisure services for communities and organizations. Unlike a general sports science program, this degree focuses on the business and administrative side — scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and customer experience — rather than personal fitness or athletic performance. The co-op work terms, built into the four-year degree, let you apply management skills in real sports and recreation settings while you study.	This program combines environmental science and social justice, exploring how environmental problems affect communities and how policy and activism can address them. You study ecology alongside politics, sociology, and ethics rather than treating environmental issues as purely technical. It suits students who care about the environment but want to understand its human and political dimensions, and the co-op option lets you work in nonprofits, government, or advocacy organizations while you study.
