What it is	This program combines the study of how the human mind works with the science of language — how we learn, understand, and use words and grammar. Unlike a single-subject honours degree, you'll earn credentials in both fields equally, taking courses in cognitive psychology, language acquisition, and translation theory. It suits students curious about why people think and communicate the way they do, and who want depth in two connected areas rather than specialising in just one.	You earn a Science degree in one of several subjects — Computer Science, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Psychology, or Biology — while simultaneously completing teacher training to become certified to teach junior and intermediate grades. This direct-entry stream combines both degrees in one program, so you graduate ready to teach right away instead than doing them separately.
