What it is	Physical and Health Education teaches you how to teach fitness, sports, and wellness to others, combining exercise science with classroom instruction methods. Unlike a pure sport science degree, this program prepares you specifically for a teaching career, so you'll learn both the biology of movement and how to run a gym class or health class. It suits people who enjoy physical activity, want to work with students in schools, and are comfortable explaining fitness concepts to groups.	You study to become a high school teacher in health or a related subject, while simultaneously earning a degree in that subject itself. Instead of finishing one degree and then teacher training separately, you do both at the same time over four years. This program suits students who know they want to teach health, science, or a similar field and want to combine their subject expertise with teaching credentials from the start.
