What it is	Nursing is a program where you study how to care for patients, manage their treatment, and support their health across hospitals, clinics, and community settings. Unlike a general health science degree, nursing combines classroom learning in anatomy, pharmacology, and patient care with hands-on clinical placements where you work alongside qualified nurses. This program suits people who want direct patient contact, are comfortable with responsibility for others' wellbeing, and are willing to work in demanding, shift-based roles.	You study how to assess, care for, and support patients across hospitals, clinics, and community settings. This program combines classroom learning in anatomy, physiology, and nursing theory with supervised clinical placements where you provide direct patient care. It suits people who want hands-on healthcare work, can handle emotional demands, and are comfortable with responsibility for others' wellbeing.	This program teaches you how the brain and nervous system work at every level, from cells and molecules to behaviour and thought. If you choose co-op, you'll alternate between classroom study and paid work terms at research labs or hospitals, giving you real experience alongside your degree.
