What it isEnvironmental Science and Studies combines the study of natural systems, human behaviour, and environmental problems. The BSc focuses on the physical and biological side — climate, ecosystems, water and soil — while the BA emphasizes policy, society, and how people respond to environmental challenges. Both offer optional co-op work terms, letting you apply what you learn in real environmental organizations.Water Science combines biology, chemistry, physics, and geography to study how water systems work and how to protect them. You'll examine lakes, rivers, and groundwater from ecological and physical angles rather than focusing only on engineering solutions. This program suits students interested in environmental problems who want a science-based approach grounded in both living systems and earth processes. You study chemistry, physics, astronomy, or geology at an advanced level, choosing your focus after first year. This program includes a co-op option that lets you work for employers in research, industry, or government between school terms. It suits students who are curious about how matter, energy, and natural systems work and want both hands-on lab experience and real-world work placements.
