What it is	Health Sciences is the study of how health systems work, what keeps people healthy, and how to solve health problems using science and technology. Unlike a nursing or medicine program, it does not train you to be a specific licensed practitioner, but instead gives you a broad science foundation that can lead to roles in health policy, public health, or health technology. It suits people interested in the science side of healthcare who want flexibility in their career direction.	You study the engineering principles behind medical devices and equipment, combining mechanical engineering with biology and healthcare applications. Unlike pure mechanical engineering, this program integrates biomedical sciences so you design systems that work inside or on the human body. It suits students interested in engineering who also want to apply their skills directly to medicine and health technology, with mandatory paid work terms built into the degree.	Mechatronics engineering combines mechanical systems, electronics, and computer control to design machines and devices that think and move. You'll study how motors, sensors, and software work together in everything from robots to medical equipment. The co-op option lets you alternate between study terms and paid work terms, giving you real industry experience alongside your degree.	Engineering is a four-year degree in applied science and problem-solving, with seven specializations: civil, computer, electronic and electrical, geomatics, mechanical, software, and space. The co-op option lets you alternate between classroom semesters and paid work terms at engineering firms, giving you real experience before you graduate. It suits people who want hands-on technical training, enjoy math and physics, and prefer learning through doing alongside theory.
