What you studyNursingNursingNursing
What it isThis program helps nurses trained outside Canada become licensed to work as registered nurses in Ontario. Unlike a full nursing degree, it focuses on bridging your existing credentials to meet Ontario's standards rather than teaching nursing from scratch. It suits internationally trained nurses who already have an RN qualification and want to practise in Ontario without repeating their entire nursing education. You study the science and practice of patient care, learning anatomy, pharmacology, clinical skills, and how to work in hospitals and community settings. This is a direct-entry nursing program, so you begin specialized nursing coursework right away rather than taking a general first year. It suits people who are confident they want to become a registered nurse and are ready to commit to a focused program from day one.You study nursing in French. This program prepares you to become a registered nurse and is taught entirely in French, which sets it apart from English-language nursing programs at other Ontario universities. It suits students who are fluent in French and want their professional health-care training in that language.
