What it is	You study to become a high school teacher in health or a related subject, while simultaneously earning a degree in that subject itself. Instead of finishing one degree and then teacher training separately, you do both at the same time over four years. This program suits students who know they want to teach health, science, or a similar field and want to combine their subject expertise with teaching credentials from the start.	Health Studies is a broad degree that explores how health systems, policies, and information work in society. You study topics like health management, statistics, finance, and health informatics rather than clinical medicine or hands-on patient care. The co-op option lets you do paid work placements alongside your studies, giving you real workplace experience in health organizations.	Economics is the study of how people and societies make choices about money, resources, and trade. At Carleton, you can focus your learning on areas like environmental issues, global development, finance, or politics alongside core economic theory and mathematics.
