What it is	You study the theory and hands-on practice of creating visual media — film, photography, and digital work — combined with understanding how media shapes culture and communication. Unlike a straight film production program, this one balances creative making with critical analysis of media's role in society. It suits people who want to both create visual work and think deeply about what it means.	In this program you study how to use cameras, lighting, and editing to create images and films that express ideas or tell stories. Photography at OCAD combines technical skills with art theory, so you learn both the craft and the thinking behind visual work. It suits people who see the world through a visual lens and want to develop that into a serious artistic or professional practice.	You study the science underlying how aircraft work and operate, combining physics, mathematics, and engineering principles with aviation-specific knowledge. This differs from a straight aeronautics or engineering program because it keeps a broader science foundation rather than narrowing early into specialized engineering design. It suits students who are strong in math and physics, curious about flight, but not yet certain they want a full engineering degree.
