What it is	A Chemistry degree teaches you the theory and practice of how substances interact, break down, and combine. You'll study pure chemistry alongside molecular biology and biochemistry, giving you a broader foundation than a straight chemistry program. The co-op option lets you alternate between classroom semesters and paid work terms at companies, so you can test whether lab or industrial chemistry work suits you before graduating.	Chemistry at Brock is the study of matter, reactions, and the properties of substances. You learn how atoms and molecules interact, and gain hands-on lab experience. The BSc/BEd option combines chemistry with teacher education so you can qualify to teach high school science. The co-op option lets you alternate semesters of study with paid work in chemistry-related jobs, giving you real workplace experience before you graduate. This program lets you earn two full degrees at once: a Bachelor of Arts in music and a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry.
