York supplementary applications

20 of the 111 programs at York University ask for more than your marks, most often an interview. These carry their own deadlines, separate from the OUAC one, and missing them ends the application no matter what your average is.

Dates we checked ourselves

Schulich BBA / iBBA
You must apply through OUAC first, and Schulich does not accept late applications. Your York student number arrives 7–10 business days afterwards and you need it to open the supplementary application — so applying on the deadline itself compresses the window you have left to complete the supplement.

What York tells counsellors

From the OUAC guide written for guidance counsellors, September 2026 entry.

Most programs consider grades only, with the following exceptions: o BFA programs require an evaluation or audition. o Digital Technologies requires a supplementary application and interview with an employer. o The Schulich School of Business requires a supplementary application. o The Glendon bilingual International Studies & Business Administration Dual Degree program requires a supplementary application. o The Concurrent Education programs at Keele and Glendon campuses require a Supplementary Information Form.

All 20 that need one

A supplementary application is the part your average can’t save you from. Work out where your marks land first, then budget time for these.

Requirements come from each program’s OUInfo listing. Deadlines change between cycles — confirm every one with the university before you rely on it.
