What it is	Critical Criminology examines why crimes happen and how criminal justice systems work, focusing on how power, inequality, and social structures shape both crime and punishment. Unlike traditional criminology, which mainly studies criminal behaviour itself, this program questions whether laws and enforcement are fair and who benefits from the current system. It suits students interested in understanding crime as a social problem rather than just studying offenders.	This program combines two degrees studied side by side over four years: a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a Bachelor of Education. Instead of finishing one degree then training as a teacher separately, you complete both simultaneously, so you graduate qualified to teach French in Ontario schools. It suits students who are fluent in French, want to teach the language, and prefer an integrated path rather than studying arts first and adding teacher training later.	This program lets you study how societies, economies, and cultures interact across borders, drawing from fields like history, anthropology, economics, and international development.
