Applied Biotechnology uses chemistry and biology to solve real problems in agriculture, food production, and related industries. This program requires you to work on alternating terms of classroom learning and paid work placements, giving you hands-on experience before you graduate. It suits students who want to combine technical science with practical industry experience and prefer learning through doing.	You study the structure and behaviour of atoms, molecules, and reactions: how substances interact, break down, and transform.
