What it isIndustrial Design teaches you how to plan and shape physical products — from phones to furniture to medical devices — so they work well, look good, and can actually be made. You'll combine design thinking with engineering and manufacturing knowledge to understand both the creative and practical sides of bringing products to life. The co-op term lets you work in industry while you study, so you apply what you learn to real projects. This program combines science study with teacher education, so you earn qualifications to teach science in secondary school while completing your degree. Unlike a regular science degree followed by teacher training, you work toward both goals at the same time, with coursework in science disciplines alongside education theory and practice teaching. It suits students who know they want to teach and want to study science deeply rather than broadly. This program combines science courses with business studies, so you study both scientific subjects like chemistry, biology, or computer science alongside accounting, management, and economics. Unlike a straight science degree, you gain practical knowledge of how science-based industries operate and how to manage projects or companies. It suits students who want a science career but also care about the business side — whether that's starting a science company, managing research teams, or working in science-related industries.
