What it is	Mechatronics engineering combines mechanical, electrical, and AI systems into machines that think and move — think robots, automated manufacturing, or smart devices. This co-op program alternates between classroom terms and paid work terms at companies, so you graduate with real engineering experience alongside your degree. The management option adds business and leadership courses if you want to move toward supervising projects or running operations. This suits people who want hands-on problem-solving, like learning by doing, and are ready to commit to work-study scheduling.	Mechatronics engineering combines mechanical systems, electronics, and computer control to design machines and devices that think and move. You'll study how motors, sensors, and software work together in everything from robots to medical equipment. The co-op option lets you alternate between study terms and paid work terms, giving you real industry experience alongside your degree.	In your first year, you take core math, physics, chemistry, and engineering courses alongside introductory modules in civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, software, and space engineering. This gives you time to explore which engineering discipline suits you before specializing in upper years. The program includes paid work terms, alternating with school, so you gain industry experience while studying.
