What it is	Pre-Engineering is a one-year program that strengthens your math and science foundations before you move into a specialized engineering degree. You'll take courses in chemistry, physics, and advanced mathematics to prepare for civil, mechanical, electrical, or general engineering programs. It's designed for students who want to study engineering but need to build up their technical skills first.	You study how to design and operate chemical processes that transform raw materials into useful products — everything from pharmaceuticals to plastics to fuels. Chemical engineering combines chemistry, physics, and math to solve real industrial problems at scale. The co-op stream lets you alternate between classroom terms and paid work terms at companies, giving you direct experience in the field while you study.
