What it isHealth Sciences is a broad study of how the human body works, disease, and health systems. You'll take courses in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and public health rather than focusing on one specific medical profession. This program suits students interested in health careers — whether that's medicine, nursing, therapy, or public health — who want to explore options before specializing. This program trains you to teach high school while earning two degrees at once: a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor's degree in environmental and urban change. Unlike a regular education degree, you study both teaching methods and a focused subject combining environmental science, geography, planning, and politics. It suits students who want to specialize in environmental or urban issues and pass that knowledge to students in a classroom.Economics is the study of how people and societies make choices about money, resources, and trade. At Carleton, you can focus your learning on areas like environmental issues, global development, finance, or politics alongside core economic theory and mathematics. The program includes a co-op option, letting you work in relevant jobs between study terms to build practical experience.Psychology is the study of how people think, feel, and behave, and why they do what they do. At Glendon, you can specialize in areas like forensic psychology, human resources, or education. The iBSc option lets you complete part of your degree in another country while maintaining bilingual instruction throughout, which is different from the regular BSc. This program suits students curious about human behaviour who want flexibility in choosing a specialization within psychology.
