What it isYou study how to build computer systems that learn and make decisions on their own, using mathematics, programming, and data analysis. This program pairs computer science fundamentals with a focused specialization in artificial intelligence techniques and applications. A co-op component lets you work terms in industry alongside your studies. It suits people who want hands-on experience applying AI to real problems while completing their degree. You earn a Bachelor of Arts degree while simultaneously training to become a high school teacher. You study an academic subject like English, history, or mathematics alongside education courses that teach you how to teach those subjects to teenagers. Unlike a regular BA followed by a separate teacher education program, you complete both degrees at the same time in four years, so you enter the classroom faster and with integrated training.
