What it is	This program teaches you to perform and interpret diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, and other body samples in hospitals and labs. It focuses on the hands-on skills and scientific knowledge that lab technicians use to help doctors diagnose disease. The Northern Access Initiative means the program is designed for students from remote or underserved regions of Ontario, with support to help you succeed in a full-time, lab-based career.	Economics is the study of how people and societies make choices about money, resources, and trade. At Carleton, you can focus your learning on areas like environmental issues, global development, finance, or politics alongside core economic theory and mathematics. The program includes a co-op option, letting you work in relevant jobs between study terms to build practical experience.	You study business fundamentals across accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and information systems. The co-op option lets you alternate between classroom semesters and paid work terms at companies, giving you real experience alongside your degree.
