What it isThis program teaches you to perform and interpret diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, and other body samples in hospitals and labs. It focuses on the hands-on skills and scientific knowledge that lab technicians use to help doctors diagnose disease. The Northern Access Initiative means the program is designed for students from remote or underserved regions of Ontario, with support to help you succeed in a full-time, lab-based career.You study chemistry, physics, astronomy, or geology at an advanced level, choosing your focus after first year.
