What it is	This program teaches you to perform and interpret diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, and other body samples in hospitals and labs. It focuses on the hands-on skills and scientific knowledge that lab technicians use to help doctors diagnose disease. The Northern Access Initiative means the program is designed for students from remote or underserved regions of Ontario, with support to help you succeed in a full-time, lab-based career.	You study science and law together in one integrated degree, rather than choosing one or the other. This combines courses in biology, chemistry, and physics with legal studies and criminology, giving you broad background in both fields. It suits people drawn to science who also want to understand law and regulation, or who are exploring whether a legal career in science-related areas appeals to them.	This program combines university-level science study with hands-on paramedic training through a partnership between University of Toronto Scarborough and Centennial College.
