What it is	This program teaches you to perform and interpret diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, and other body samples in hospitals and labs. It focuses on the hands-on skills and scientific knowledge that lab technicians use to help doctors diagnose disease. The Northern Access Initiative means the program is designed for students from remote or underserved regions of Ontario, with support to help you succeed in a full-time, lab-based career.	Health Studies is a broad degree that explores how health systems, policies, and information work in society. You study topics like health management, statistics, finance, and health informatics rather than clinical medicine or hands-on patient care. The co-op option lets you do paid work placements alongside your studies, giving you real workplace experience in health organizations.	This program teaches you business and management skills with a focus on health data and information systems. Unlike a general commerce degree, you study how hospitals, clinics, and health organizations use analytics and technology to make decisions and run operations. It suits people who want to work in healthcare but prefer solving business and data problems over clinical work, and who are willing to do paid work terms alongside their studies.
