What it is	This program teaches you to perform and interpret diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, and other body samples in hospitals and labs. It focuses on the hands-on skills and scientific knowledge that lab technicians use to help doctors diagnose disease. The Northern Access Initiative means the program is designed for students from remote or underserved regions of Ontario, with support to help you succeed in a full-time, lab-based career.	You study how to extract useful insights from large datasets using statistics, mathematics, and programming tools. This program combines theory in statistics and economics with practical data analysis skills. Co-op placement is optional, letting you gain real workplace experience analyzing data while you study.
